Escalon Consolidated Fire Protection District responded to 25 calls for service during the period of Monday, Sept. 4 through Sunday, Sept. 10. Calls included:

 

SUNDAY, SEPT. 10

9:04 a.m. – EMS call, 26000 block Edwards.

12:10 p.m. – Lift assist, 2100 block Lydia.

1:33 p.m. – EMS, 16000 block Escalon-Bellota.

7:55 p.m. – Possible stranded boaters, Jacob Myers Park on Santa Fe; canceled prior to arrival.

10:51 p.m. – EMS, 26000 block Jones.

 

SATURDAY, SEPT. 9

5:18 a.m. – EMS call, 1500 block Judith Way.

3:53 p.m. – EMS, 23000 block Arthur Road.

 

FRIDAY, SEPT. 8

1:12 p.m. – EMS call, 1400 block Sierra.

2:01 p.m. – EMS, 1200 block Plaza.

5:37 p.m. – EMS, 1800 block Sanchez.

7:13 p.m. – Structure fire reported, McHenry and River; determined to be smoke coming from a burn barrel; secure.

8:39 p.m. – EMS, 29000 block Orange.

9:23 p.m. – EMS, 2200 block Spring.

10:57 p.m. – Vehicle accident with wires down reported on River Road west of McHenry; single vehicle vs. pole, one minor injury.

11:05 p.m. – EMS, 20000 block St. John.

 

THURSDAY, SEPT. 7

No time logged – Fire alarm sounding 1100 block Escalon Avenue; false alarm.

 

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 6

10:09 a.m. – Manpower assist to ambulance on scene, 2000 block Yosemite.

12:52 p.m. – Grass fire, 29000 block East Edwards; half acre, caused by mowing operations.

1:02 p.m. – Vehicle accident, McHenry and Clough; two vehicles involved, minor injuries only.

2:30 p.m. – EMS call, 1500 block Elizabeth.

 

TUESDAY, SEPT. 5

11:20 a.m. – EMS call, 15000 block Escalon-Bellota Road.

12:03 p.m. – EMS, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.

 

MONDAY, SEPT. 4

7:43 a.m. – Vehicle accident, 28000 block East Highway 120; non-injury, big rig vs. power pole.

9:37 a.m. – EMS call, 13000 block Escalon-Bellota Road.

3:21 p.m. – Vegetation fire, Sutliff between Highway 120 and Vine.
