Mother’s Day weekend, Friday and Saturday, May 12 and 13, will feature a couple of unique events, perfect for sharing with mom.

The Art of Design Home and Garden Tour Events put on through the Carnegie Arts Center, could be the perfect Mother’s Day gift idea. Mother’s Day is observed on Sunday, May 14 this year.

First up, on Friday, May 12, The Twilight Tour is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The tour takes place at a beautifully renovated historic home in Turlock. This evening event features local cuisine, beverages (including wine and beer), and the opportunity to tour the main rooms and extensive grounds of this unique residence. One of Carnegie Arts Center’s most popular events, the Twilight Tour raises funds supporting all of the CAC’s creative, engaging, and educational programs.

Cost is $75 for CAC members, $90 general admission.

The Home and Garden Tour on Saturday, May 13, runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and includes self-guided tours through four distinctive Turlock homes. These homes have been selected for the quality and variety of their interior design, as well as creative gardens and outdoor spaces.

Pre-sale tickets are $25 for CAC members, $30 general admission; cost will be $35 the day of the event. Locations and home details will be provided with your ticket purchase.
