Youth Art Month is officially underway in the area. To celebrate, Mistlin Gallery in Modesto will be putting up its annual Young@Art Student exhibition featuring works by children ages two through 18 from Tuesday, March 7 through Saturday, April 1. Artworks can be entered by bringing them to the gallery, 1015 J St., downtown Modesto on Saturday and Sunday, March 4 and 5. No pre-registration is required. This year, in addition to the visual arts exhibition, Mistlin Gallery will be hosting Young@Art, the Concert. Acts will be performed in vocal and instrumental music, acting, poetry and dance on Saturday, March 25. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students. Funds support art education and outreach programs. Show time at Mistlin Gallery is 7 p.m.; doors open at 6:30 p.m.
