Works like this one by Ben Jackson are part of the Modesto Junior College Art Gallery exhibition Indispensable: Works from MJC Art Adjunct Faculty that continues through Thursday, Oct. 29. The MJC Art Gallery is on East Campus, 435 College Ave., Modesto, and is open Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The display is open to the public and admission is free. The show features painting, photography, sculpture and other works. A free public reception with the artists will be held on Thursday, Oct. 15 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Gallery.
