Fun With Physics Program Offered Through MAPS

Modesto Area Partners in Science, MAPS, is presenting a free Family Science Show, suggested for third grade and up on Feb. 24 at Modesto Junior College.

The Physics Show features physics instructors Frank Cascarano and David Marasco from Foothill College, who will test Newton’s laws with tools of mass construction.

Show time and place are Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, 7:30 p.m., MJC East Campus Auditorium. Free admission and parking.

Enjoy fun demonstrations while learning; the performance includes a series of exciting, attention grabbing and educational physics demonstrations that are guaranteed to fascinate people of all ages. The demos will demonstrate that physics is fun and important. The audience will leave with a better understanding of physics and its role in our lives. Cascarano and Marasco annually give this presentation to thousands of Bay area students.
