Modesto Garden Club is planning two special events in December.

First up, on Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., join in for the Elegant Holiday Table Viewing.

The Club will host its table viewing event at Del Rio Country Club at 801 Stewart Road, Modesto.

The public is welcome to view 30 tables, uniquely staged by members with holiday finery for the season. Tickets are $10 each and will be available at the door.

On Saturday, Dec. 16, members of the Modesto Garden Club will stage the annual Holiday Home Tour, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Included are five lovely local homes plus the Modesto Garden Club office decked out in holiday decorations for attendees to enjoy. Tickets are $20 each (children admitted free) and can be purchased online at www.modestogardenclub.org; at local garden centers in the Stanislaus County area and on the tour.
