Oak Valley Art Society “Artist of the Month” for June was Melba Pimentel with her drawing of her horse, “Contessa.”

The members will be displaying their art at the Oakdale Cheese Factory along Highway 120 outside Oakdale on Saturday, July 16. The public is welcome to come and view the different art.

You have to be a member to display your art. Anyone interested in joining can contact Evelyn Cooper, President, at 838-3095.

The Society, which includes members from Oakdale, Riverbank, Escalon and surrounding communities, especially welcomes any youths that are interested in learning to paint. Jaime Kimbler will be starting classes for the youth of any age.
