Mark the calendar for Saturday, Oct. 17 and get ready to enjoy a night at the drive-in.

The State Theatre at John Thurman Field will present ‘The Goonies’ at 6:30 p.m. and ‘42 The Jackie Robinson Story’ at 9:30 p.m.

Gates open 45 minutes before showtime and cost is $30 per car. Tickets must be purchased in advance at www.thestate.org.

There will be text-to-order concessions available. Alcohol is not permitted.

John Thurman Field is at 601 Neece Drive, Modesto; the movies will be in the West parking lot.

The ‘drive in’ is a partnership of the Modesto Nuts baseball team and The State Theatre.
