The State Theatre in Modesto will be the site for a special focus group meeting later this month. Theatre officials said they want to make sure that they are offering what the public wants and are asking for input regarding the current programs and services.

The focus group session is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 23 at 10:30 a.m. at the State Theatre, 1307 J St., Modesto.

The focus group is a chance for theatre patrons to get together over coffee and crullers and offer feedback.

Questions will include: What do you enjoy about existing State programming? What would you like to see that we’re not currently offering? And what suggestions do you have for making the venue even better and a better fit for the community?

Consider joining in and taking advantage of this opportunity to influence what you see at the theater.

Doors for the focus group session will open at 9:30 a.m. with the discussion starting at 10:30 a.m.

There will be a professional facilitator on hand.
