Christmas trees in a variety of sizes and shapes were picked up through the Escalon Fire Department’s annual Christmas Tree Pick Up day on Saturday, Jan. 11. Along with the traditional, full-bodied trees, there were some very small and some very tall, yet sparse, trees. All were picked up and hauled away free of charge; crews spent the morning picking up an estimated 150 trees around the community.
