Further court action is anticipated for a man arrested by Ceres Police following an investigation and subsequent search of a home in Escalon.

Authorities said Allen Kendrick was arrested in Escalon and booked at Stanislaus County Jail, arrested on suspicion of possession of child pornography and violating parole. The 47-year-old man, according to police, is a registered sex offender and is on parole. Ceres detectives acted on a tip and served a search warrant at a home on Escalon-Bellota road and a second location, with computers, accessories and various electronic equipment confiscated. State parole agents and the FBI were also involved and the investigation is ongoing. Kendrick was taken into custody on Feb. 28.
