3:10 p.m. – Possible intoxicated driver reported, swerving all over the roadway northbound on McHenry at River; turned on to Ullrey. Officer responded to area but was unable to locate the vehicle.

12:52 p.m. – Burglary reported, occurred prior, miscellaneous items taken from the 1100 block of First.
12:58 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle reported in the 2200 block of Jackson; checks OK, vehicle to be towed on Monday, needs repairs.
7:05 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1000 block of Escalon Avenue; confirmed misdial, secure.
11:01 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up; determined to be child playing with phone, secure.
11:35 p.m. – Officers working radar enforcement at Highway 120 and Brennan observed a vehicle driving at a much slower pace than other vehicles. A traffic stop was conducted and officers detected a moderate odor of alcohol on the driver. Following an investigation, the 52-year-old Merced man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and DUI with a blood alcohol content of .08 or better. The man was cited and released.

4:39 a.m. – Assist outside agency, check of possible prowler on Escalon Avenue for San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department.

THURSDAY, NOV. 26

12:53 a.m. – Pedestrian stop at Plaza and La Mesa; checks OK.
5:22 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance, officer initiated activity at Hogan Park, 1000 block Escalon Avenue; checks OK.
11:01 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance, subject with metal detector digging holes in grassy area at Main Street Park; warned.
2:20 p.m. – Report of subjects riding dirt bikes recklessly in the area, Countrywood and Sophie; gone on arrival.
6:45 p.m. – Police were dispatched to a possible battery, domestic dispute in the area of Park Avenue; the suspect had left the area prior to police arrival but he was later located in Salida by the CHP. The 38-year-old man from Denair was taken into custody and booked at San Joaquin County Jail.
7:35 p.m. – Possible intoxicated driver reported, McHenry, vehicle swerving in the roadway.
7:49 p.m. – Possible intoxicated driver reported, Highway 120 and Brayton; unable to locate.

8:07 a.m. – Public Works callout to Brentwood Park; subject tapping in to hydrant for water without authorization; warned.
1:54 p.m. – Assist outside agency, Manteca Police Department working on vehicle hit and run incident, property damage only; occurred on Kern Street.

7:31 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 1500 block Fourth.
8:02 p.m. – Possible intoxicated driver reported, Campbell and Highway 120; unable to locate.
