5:39 a.m. – Public assist, report of some flooding on both ends of Jessica Circle and on California.

8:14 a.m. – Harassing phone calls complaint on Arlene.

 

SUNDAY, JAN. 17

1:36 a.m. – Vehicle alarm sounding in area, 500 block Northwood; area secure.

1:45 a.m. – Reckless driving complaint, westbound on Highway 120 near Victory, tractor trailer tailgating, swerving into opposite lane.

2:53 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 1400 block St. Clair.

8:43 p.m. – Non-injury accident, two vehicles involved in the 2200 block of Jackson.

11:44 p.m. – Downtown security check; no problems noted.

 

SATURDAY, JAN. 16

2:07 a.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 1500 block Ullrey, loud music.

9:13 a.m. – Non-emergency 9-1-1 call from the 1300 block of Irwin; child playing with phone, checks OK.

4:29 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 1700 block Baker.

9:36 p.m. – Public assist, caller requesting information regarding power outage in area, 1700 block Brennan; advised of issue due to power pole being struck at Sexton and River.

10:02 p.m. – Assist outside agency, CHP requesting assistance in contacting driver of vehicle abandoned following traffic crash on River between Sexton and McHenry.

 

FRIDAY, JAN. 15

1:55 a.m. – Security check at animal shelter, 25000 block River Road; no problems noted.

3:58 a.m. – Check of business complex, 1900 block McHenry; secure.

6:50 a.m. – Bike stop, California and Elizabeth; checks OK.

8:27 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up; number determined to belong to Trac phone; unable to locate.

8:05 p.m. – 9-1-1 caller reported vehicle southbound on McHenry swerved off roadway and struck pole, then returned to roadway and turned westbound onto River Road; log note only.

8:15 p.m. – Crossing arm malfunction reported at railroad tracks, St. John and Main; second call regarding issue came in at 9:53 p.m.

 

THURSDAY, JAN. 14

3:53 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance, subjects possibly at abandoned house in the 2200 block of Main; determined to be railroad workers.

4:14 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle, Main and Viking; checks OK.

4:21 a.m. – Officer initiated activity, 25000 block River Road; checks OK.

6:31 a.m. – Vehicle accident, non-injury, 2300 block California.

6:56 a.m. – Public assist on call reporting train blocking traffic, Highway 120.

11:17 a.m. – Non-emergency 9-1-1 call, open line; 800 block First. Checks OK.

6:29 p.m. – Extra patrol, 2200 block Jackson; checks secure.

6:46 p.m. – Check of complex, 1900 block McHenry; secure.

7:07 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 1400 block Walnut; unable to locate anything.

7:47 p.m. – Downtown security check; no problems noted.

8:24 p.m. – Security check, 1900 block McHenry; secure.

8:32 p.m. – Security check at River and McHenry; no problems noted.

8:39 p.m. – Check of animal shelter, 25000 block River Road; secure.

10:10 p.m. – Officer initiated activity in the 1200 block of Plaza; no problems noted.

11:20 p.m. – Public assist, welfare check on Arlene Court.

 

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 13

1:16 a.m. – Assist regarding possible scam; subject requesting telephone contact.

1:47 a.m. – Pedestrian stop, 1600 block First; checks OK.

5:41 a.m. – Check of animal shelter on River Road; no problems noted.

9:37 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle, California and Justin.

11:43 a.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, Lillian and Plaza.

1:35 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance in the 1700 block of Main.

1:57 p.m. – Non-emergency 9-1-1 call, open line then disconnected. No answer on callback.

9:27 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 1900 block of Coley.

10:11 p.m. – Officer initiated activity, Sanchez Park, Sanchez and Cardinal; checks OK.

10:51 p.m. – Security check, Escalon Covenant, 1100 block Escalon. No problems noted.

11:58 p.m. – Check of Hogan Park and Community Center; secure.

 

TUESDAY, JAN. 12

6:15 a.m. – Business alarm sounding, 3000 block McHenry; checks OK.

8:38 a.m. – Suspicious subject in the 1200 block of Lillian.

9:50 a.m. – Officer initiated activity at the police department, meet a citizen regarding possible telephone scam.

10:38 a.m. – Meet a citizen at police station regarding petty theft.

5:37 p.m. – Check of Escalon High School, 1500 block Yosemite; no problems noted.

5:56 p.m. – Check of business complex, 1900 block McHenry; secure.

8:11 p.m. – Officer initiated activity, wastewater treatment plant on River Road; checks OK.

8:18 p.m. – Security check, 1100 block First; checks OK.

10:28 p.m. – Hogan Park security check, 1000 block Escalon Avenue; all clear; return check of park and Community Center at 11:05 p.m., secure.

 

MONDAY, JAN. 11

6:23 a.m. – Downtown security check, 1700 block Main; no problems noted.

7:30 a.m. – Possible burglary, 2100 block Main; report taken.

7:51 a.m. – Stolen vehicle reported, 1989 Camaro reported taken during prior burglary on Main Street.

8:38 p.m. – Vandalism complaint, intoxicated subject damaging property in the 400 block of Valdapena; arrest made.

11:03 p.m. – Public assist in the 1100 block of California.
