Work crews stayed busy along the railroad tracks in Escalon on Friday, May 8 with Union Pacific replacing and upgrading the crossing here adjacent to McHenry Avenue between Ullrey and Countrywood. The old crossings were removed in favor of smoother, newer ones to make the going easier for motorists.
