The Barn at Lorina’s Edible Garden, along Enterprise Road east of Escalon, will be hosting several special fall activities.

Twilight Shopping is scheduled for Wednesday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., starting Aug. 30; Morning Shopping is planned for Fridays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. beginning on Sept. 1.

Fall vegetable plants are now available, while the nursery and farm stand open are open weekly.

Groups and clubs are welcome and can also request private get togethers at the barn. Hours of operation vary by the day and event; follow Lorina’s Edible Garden on social media for updates.

Also coming up is a special Brunch at the Barn, scheduled for Friday, Sept. 8 from 10 a.m. to noon. Cost is $25 per person, reservation only, and will feature seasonal sweet and savory dishes, coffee and complimentary mimosas inspired from the garden.

Bluegrass at the Barn will be staged on Saturday, Sept. 9. Music by the band Bluegrass Lemonade begins at 8 p.m.

The gathering itself runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and is free to attend; there is an option for a Farm to Fork inspired appetizer shareable plate; reservations are required for the $25 appetizer plate.
