Escalon Fire Calls 10-23-24

Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 30 calls for service during the period of Monday, Oct. 14 through Sunday, Oct. 20. Calls included:

 

SUNDAY, OCT. 20

7:26 a.m. – Return to the 2200 block of McBride for a smoke investigation, determined to be from a previous fire.

10:41 a.m. – Lift assist, 400 block Noni.

12:42 p.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 31000 block Lone Tree Road with a traumatic injury.

4:50 p.m. – Smoke investigation, return to 22000 block McBride.

 

SATURDAY, OCT. 19

7:50 a.m. – Vegetation fire, 22000 block McBride; fire rekindled in large burn pile, monitored.

6:16 p.m. – Vegetation fire, 22000 block McBride; small flare up at previous fire; crew on scene advised it will continue to smolder for several days.

 

FRIDAY, OCT. 18

6:01 a.m. – Vegetation fire, McBride, cross of Lee; two-acre river bottom fire, extinguished by firefighters with mutual aid from Ripon, Modesto and Manteca; scene turned over to property owner. Farmington firefighters provided station coverage for Escalon during incident.

10:30 a.m. – Fire alarm, 1500 block Sophie; determined to be a false alarm.

12:21 p.m. – EMS call, 1200 block Plaza.

12:41 p.m. – EMS, 1600 block First.

12:52 p.m. – EMS, 1100 block Yosemite.

2:03 p.m. – Smoke investigation, McBride, cross of Lee; extinguished smoking logs from previous fire earlier in the day.

2:34 p.m. – Vegetation fire, 2100 block Jackson; small grass fire extinguished by construction workers in the area.

3:39 p.m. – Smoke investigation, McBride and Lee; responded back to scene to of early morning fire for hot spots smoldering.

3:52 p.m. – Station coverage; Engine 1-1 provided district coverage for Farmington.

6:20 p.m. – Smoke investigation, return to McBride and Lee, connected to early morning fire call.

 

THURSDAY, OCT. 17

12:13 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Highway 120 and Steinegul; single vehicle rollover, reported to be non-injury.

1:26 p.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 2000 block South Henry Road; determined to be a false alarm.

7:40 pm. – EMS call, 400 block Sultana Way.

9:22 p.m. – Lift assist, 2200 block Vernon Drive.

 

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 16

3:36 a.m. – EMS call, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.

4:30 a.m. – EMS, 2200 block of Main.

2:18 p.m. – Service call; 19000 block Highway 120, no incident found at location.

3:16 p.m. – EMS, 30000 block Grooms Road.

3:44 p.m. – EMS, 21000 block Seidner.

6:44 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, River and Sexton; units responded to injury accident, one injured party refused care on scene.

 

TUESDAY, OCT. 15

2:10 p.m. – EMS call, 2000 block McHenry; canceled prior to arrival.

 

MONDAY, OCT. 14

2:09 a.m. – EMS call, 15000 block Steinegul.

3:27 a.m. – Structure fire reported, 1500 block Glenwood; crew arrived at a two-story single-family dwelling with nothing showing; investigated and located a faulty outlet, no fire.

10:44 a.m. – EMS, 300 block California.
