Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 18 calls for service during the period of Monday, March 17 through Sunday, March 23. Calls included:
SUNDAY, MARCH 23
10:06 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Harrold and Santa Fe; determined to be a disabled motorist, false alarm.
10:50 p.m. – Structure fire reported, 24000 block East Lone Tree; upon arrival crews found a 20-by-80 shop fully involved, several vehicles inside the shop were also on fire. Mutual aid was received from Farmington Water Tender 4-1, Ripon Engine 2-1 and Collegeville Engine 14-1. Scene turned over to fire investigation unit; cause remains under investigation.
SATURDAY, MARCH 22
4:19 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Highway 120, cross of French Camp; assisted Ripon Fire on an accident response.
7:42 p.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 2500 block Jackson Avenue.
FRIDAY, MARCH 21
2:22 a.m. – EMS call, 2500 block Jackson.
10:19 a.m. – Lift assist, 1500 block Mitchell.
10:45 a.m. – EMS, 400 block Farinelli Parkway.
5 p.m. – EMS, 1600 block Autumn Lane.

2:23 p.m. – Report of a structure fire in the 1300 block of Yosemite; single story duplex with light smoke showing upon arrival. Responding crews extinguished a small fire in one of the units.
7:15 p.m. – EMS call, 23000 block Henry Road.
7:31 p.m. – EMS, 1600 block David Drive.
MONDAY, MARCH 17
1:04 a.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 1100 block Escalon Avenue; determined to be a false alarm.
10:18 a.m. – EMS call, 21000 block South Henry Road.
2:01 p.m. – EMS, 1100 block California Street.
7:38 p.m. – EMS, 2100 block California.
8:32 p.m. – Vehicle fire reported, Brennan Avenue; Engine 1-1 crew extinguished a small engine compartment fire on a vehicle.
