SUNDAY, NOV 3

3:31 a.m. – Business alarm sounding, 1600 block Main; checks OK.

8:14 a.m. – Suspicious person reported in the area on Brayton; checks OK.

12:25 p.m. – Suspicious person reported, youths possibly attempting to break into a garage and vehicles on Libby; left the area and headed toward Escalon Community Center. Youths approximately junior high school age; log note only.

12:34 p.m. – Public assist regarding vehicle release information.

1:46 p.m. – Train reported blocking the tracks for an estimated half hour, Highway 120 and Plaza; log note only.

2:45 p.m. – Officer flagged down by subject in the 1700 block of Jackson; log note only.

5:28 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance on Escalon Avenue, unknown vehicle seen in the parking lot of a closed business; checks OK.

 

SATURDAY, NOV. 2

3:27 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle check, officer initiated activity in the 1200 block of Plaza; checks OK.

8:41 a.m. – Suspicious person, possible transient, reported on Thaddeous; unable to locate.

9:41 a.m. – Follow up, officer initiated activity on Sophie Lane; report taken.

9:51 a.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint on California; determined to be civil problem.

9:31 p.m. – Report of a suspicious person seen in the 1200 block of Plaza; possibly with a weapon; checks OK.

11:09 p.m. – Security check at a business, 1900 block McHenry; checks OK.

 

FRIDAY, NOV. 1

1:31 a.m. – Security check, 1900 block Yosemite; checks OK.

8:53 a.m. – Public Works callout for broken water pipe shooting water into the air, David Drive; log note only.

10:51 a.m. – Public assist, caller with questions regarding the Escalon Youth Center; advised.

11:03 a.m. – Traffic complaint regarding frequent speeding vehicles in the area and drivers not stopping for stop signs, Jessica Circle.

12:23 p.m. – Officer provided assistance, public assist via phone call.

3:25 p.m. – Complaint of a vehicle, possibly abandoned, parked in the area for about a year, La Mesa; advised.

6:51 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the area of Escalon High School; accidental, secure.

6:59 p.m. – Public Works call out for broken sprinkler flooding the area on David Drive.

7:41 p.m. – Non-injury vehicle accident reported in the area of St. John; assisted.

8:58 p.m. – Public assist on David.

 

THURSDAY, OCT. 31

2:09 a.m. – Report from BNSF regarding auto horn system malfunctioning; trains will be blowing horns at crossings; advised.

5:01 a.m. – Business alarm sounding, 1000 block Yosemite; checks OK.

8:33 a.m. – Possible intoxicated driver reported, 1400 block California; checks OK.

9:37 a.m. – Welfare check in the 2500 block of Jackson; checks OK.

5:02 p.m. – Railroad crossing arms malfunctioning, First and McHenry; log note only. Second report of same situation, Plaza and Highway 120 at 7:53 p.m.

11:34 p.m. – Suspicious person; officer initiated activity at Highway 120 and Second; warned.
