Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 16 calls for service during the period of Monday, Sept. 25 through Sunday, Oct. 1. Calls included:
SUNDAY, OCT. 1
2:01 a.m. – Vegetation fire, Brennan and Highway 120; large brush pile on fire. Engine 1-1 discovered a large burn pile in an open field, made contact with homeowner regarding the incident.
6:44 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 400 block Valdapena.
6:48 p.m. – EMS call, 17000 block Enterprise.
6:51 p.m. – EMS, 16000 block Van Allen.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 30
7:04 p.m. – EMS call, 1700 block North.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 29
2:08 a.m. – EMS call, 1300 block Dent.
9:17 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Santa Fe and River; determined to be two vehicle non-injury accident, scene turned over to CHP.

7:23 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident reported, Yosemite and Walnut; assisted Medic 80 on scene, put down absorbent on roadway and directed traffic. Two vehicles involved, with one minor injury.
7:55 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, 23000 block Highway 120; two vehicles involved, three patients transported with minor injuries.
11:02 a.m. – Carbon monoxide alarm, 1400 block Genevieve; aired out the building.
1:49 p.m. – EMS call, 2400 block California Street.
2:12 p.m. – EMS, 27000 block Magnolia.
TUESDAY, SEPT. 26
11:21 a.m. – Smoke investigation, 15000 block Highway 120, responded to assist Ripon; determined to be agricultural burn, secure.
1:33 p.m. – Lift assist, 23000 block River Road.
