Great Wolf Lodge has announced the new Great Wolf Lodge Northern California in Manteca will welcome guests to the resort beginning June 29, 2021. The new lodge will offer residents in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Fresno, Sacramento, Modesto, Stockton, and other Northern California communities a close, convenient, and fun-filled family getaway.
Situated on 29 acres off Highway 120 west of the Interstate 5 interchange in Manteca, the new 500-room Great Wolf Lodge Northern California will feature an expansive 95,000-square-foot indoor water park heated to a comfortable 84 degrees all year long with slides and water-play areas for families with children of every age. Aside from the water park, guests will discover the 45,000-square-foot Great Wolf Adventure Park with an array of indoor attractions including a ropes course, miniature golf, arcade, and a high-tech, newly imagined version of the brand’s exclusive MagiQuest interactive adventure game. The resort also features a number of eateries that range from elevated dining to sweet ice cream treats, spacious and well-appointed guest suites, as well as a massive outdoor resort-style pool to relax and soak up the California sunshine.
“The year-long delay of our grand opening due to the pandemic has further raised anticipation levels for our new Northern California resort, and we can’t wait to welcome our first guests next month,” said Murray Hennessy, chief executive officer for Great Wolf Resorts. “This resort brings a whole new level of immersive family entertainment to the region, and we’re excited to get families back to having fun.”
Great Wolf Lodge Northern California will open with elements from the company’s Paw Pledge program, a health and safety initiative developed with guidance from medical experts, health officials, sanitation specialists and industrial engineers in response to the pandemic. This company-wide initiative focuses on keeping families healthy and safe while they play together at the indoor water park resort. The program focuses on disinfection and sanitization, physical distancing, personal protection, and minimizing surface interactions in all guest areas across the resort.
In preparation of the grand opening, Great Wolf Lodge is looking to recruit, hire, and train 500 pack members to work at the resort.
