Members of the Escalon Historical Society are planning for a special fundraising event in September.
The society’s 11th Home and Garden Tour and Luncheon is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Featured will be the Cowin historical home on Catherine Way, which is celebrating its 100-year anniversary. Built in 1921, the home will be one of two on the tour. Attendees will also enjoy a walk through the extensive gardens at the Vaughn home. The luncheon for the event will be served at the Vaughn home, which is on Arthur Road.
Tickets are $25 and are available at the Escalon Museum on Main Street. They can also be obtained by calling 209-838-8070 or 209-838-7176. No tickets will be available at the door; pre-sales only.
All proceeds will go to help support the Escalon Historical Museum.
