Community Hospice and Health Services (CHHS) Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness to support the patients, families, and programs of Community Hospice and Health Services, recently announced Ms. Kristi Hansen has been named as interim executive director.

Hansen joined the CHHS Foundation in 2023 and has served as the Foundation Manager over the past year. She has nearly 20 years of experience and expertise in management, relationships, and fund development skills. She replaces the Interim Executive Director, Monica Ojcius, who will continue with CHHS as the Director of Strategic Development.

“Community Hospice and Health Services is delighted to announce Ms. Hansen as the Foundation Interim Executive Director,” said Mathew Francis, Interim CEO of CHHS. “Ms. Hansen is a respected member of our community who displays a passion for nonprofit work and compassion for the mission of our organization. The Board of Directors and Leadership team are confident she will provide exceptional service, and strong leadership, for our donors, Board members, Friends auxiliary members, staff, and volunteers.”

Before joining CHHS Foundation, Hansen worked with Wellspring Anglican Church concluding her tenure as the Administrator. She played a critical role in the development and success of the local chapter of the Royal Family Kids Camp.

She holds a degree from Modesto Junior College, and is a current participant in Next Level Leaders, a program offered by the Porges Nonprofit Excellence Initiative.

The CHHS Foundation is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors as well as the Friends of CHHS volunteer auxiliary; both groups serve to raise funds and awareness of CHHS through diverse channels such as planned gifts, memorial donations and special events.

The Community Hospice and Health Services Foundation is a charitable organization established in 2001 to raise funds and awareness for Community Hospice and Health Services.
