Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 23 calls for service during the period of Monday, Oct. 10 through Sunday, Oct. 16. Calls included:

SUNDAY, OCT. 16

3:57 p.m.  – Possible structure fire reported, 16000 block of South Campbell Avenue, dispatched for the report of a fire underneath the house; there was a small electrical fire and it was extinguished by property owners. Engine 1-1 checked for extension; no extension and went available on radio.

4:19 p.m.  – Structure fire, 16000 block of Campbell Avenue; returned to previous scene for some smoldering insulation.

7:18 p.m.  – Motor Vehicle Accident, Highway 120 and Von Glahn; Vehicle through a power pole, occupants fled the scene and were released by CHP.

8:06 p.m.  – Emergency Medical Services call, 29000 block of East Chapman Way.

SATURDAY, OCT. 15

12:12 a.m. - EMS call, 1700 block of North Street.

9:43 p.m.  – EMS call, 20000 block of Highway 120

12:01 p.m.  – Fire alarm sounding, 30000 block of Tressa Lane; false alarm.

12:11 p.m.  – EMS call, 1800 block of California Street.

3:36 p.m.  – EMS call, 31000 block of Combs.

11:30 p.m.  – Garbage fire, Dodds Road, East of Henry. Engine 1-1 and Water Tender 1-1 responded to a boat fire; boat details 10 feet long, wood craft, and was fully involved upon our arrival.

FRIDAY, OCT. 14

11:17 a.m.  – Motor Vehicle Accident, Mariposa and Escalon-Bellota. Engine 1-2 responded to an MVA. It was non-injury; remained on scene until roadway was clear and safe.

2:21 p.m.  – Motor Vehicle Accident, Highway 120 and Carlton. Engine 1-2 responded to an MVA. It was non injury; remained on scene until CHP arrived.

THURSDAY, OCT. 13

9:39 p.m.  – EMS call, 2500 block of Jackson Avenue.

11:42 p.m.  – EMS call, 2500 block of Jackson Avenue.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 12

5:53 p.m.  – EMS call, 1500 block of James Street.

TUESDAY, OCT. 11

5:07 p.m.  – EMS call, 2100 block of Yosemite.

MONDAY, OCT. 10

3:28 a.m.  – Reports of a water heater issue in the 600 block of California. Engine 1-1 responded to water heater issue and advised of turning off water heater and getting it replaced.

8:32 a.m.  – EMS call, 21000 block of South Henry.

11:21 a.m.  – Motor Vehicle Accident in the 27000 block of East Lone Tree. A two vehicle accident with one minor patient transported to San Joaquin General Hospital by Escalon Community Ambulance.

3:29 p.m.  – Motor Vehicle Accident, South Carlton and River Road; automatic A to Ripon for a traffic accident. Unable to locate and went available on radio.

4:32 p.m.  – Fire alarm sounding, 30000 block of Tressa Lane; cancelled enroute.

7:41p.m. – Smoke investigation in the 900 block of Yosemite; dispatched for report of smoke investigation, found the source and advised the responsible to put it out.

7:48 p.m.  – EMS call, 2000 block of Jackson Avenue.
