The Escalon Park Fete 10k and 2-mile runs are back on.
On Saturday, Aug. 7 as part of the weekend’s Park Fete festivities, the 10k will start at 7:15 a.m. and the 2-mile – where participants can jog, run or walk – starts at 7:30 a.m.
Overseeing the races this year is Escalon High School cross country coach Michael Bower.
“I am the new race director working in conjunction with Escalon Lions Club,” Bower explained. “I was asked to organize the event by the Lions Club, which is managing the rest of Park Fete.”
Both races start at El Portal Middle School on First Street.
Individuals interested in participating in either the 10k or 2-mile can register online at this link: https://ultrasignup.com/register.aspx?did=86636
