Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend, and the clocks will ‘spring ahead’ one hour on Saturday night.
The return to Daylight Saving Time, DST, which is in effect during the warmer months of the year, comes at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 12 so remember to set your clocks ahead one hour before going to bed on Saturday night. The idea behind the time change is to allow for more daylight later in the day during the warmer spring and summer months. Daylight Saving Time will be in effect through early November.
