San Joaquin RTD, Regional Transit District, is planning on providing transportation service from the Escalon Community Center, 1055 Escalon Ave., Escalon to the San Joaquin County Senior Awareness Day at the San Joaquin Fairgrounds. The event is on Wednesday, May 23 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Senior citizens interested in going to this event are asked to sign up for the event at Escalon City Hall, Heritage House, Paddack Village Mobile Manor or with the eTrans bus operator by Friday, May 4. eTrans will provide free transportation within the Escalon city limits to the RTD bus departing the Escalon Community Center on Wednesday, May 23. Once the sign up list is finalized, RTD will contact those eTrans riders wanting transportation to coordinate pick up and drop off times.
