Van Allen Elementary School secretary Justina Percey, left, and Parents Club president Susan Garside were busy recently preparing the various silent and live auction items for the club’s annual tri tip and spaghetti dinner, hosted earlier this month at the Escalon Sportsman’s Club. Proceeds of the fun event benefit the school, helping finance student field trips and classroom necessities.
