Scammers are becoming increasingly sophisticated and are targeting people of all backgrounds, ages, and income levels.
“All of us are vulnerable to fraud and scams, and it is important to protect yourself and your loved ones,” said Congressman Jerry McNerney. “That is why I am hosting a Consumer Protection and Fraud Prevention Virtual Town Hall.”
On Thursday, Sept. 24 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., California Attorney General Xavier Becerra will join McNerney for a discussion about consumer protection. Attorney General Becerra will answer questions and share information about how to recognize the warning signs of and protect yourself against fraud and scams
