Area residents looking to gain a little financial knowledge will have the chance through The Money Books Series, which is set for Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Escalon Library, starting at 10:30 a.m.
A program of the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library system, in cooperation with Escalon Branch Library, all attendees will receive a free “How Money Works” book.
If you are just beginning your trek to financial literacy or refining your knowledge, the workshop is just the place to do it. Those attending will learn essential financial concepts, strategies and solutions, designed to equip you to make informed financial decisions to grow your family’s nest egg.
Among the topics will be the power of compound interest and the ‘Rule of 72’ as participants will learn the ‘7 Money Milestones’ and be able to start planning for their financial success.

The Money Books Series provides participants with a ‘Change your Literacy, Change your Life’ Challenge; all residents are welcome.
