PINWHEEL PROJECT

Escalon’s once-a-month Farmers Market was hosted on Wednesday, June 21 in the Main Street Park area. Here, young Joseph Rush, 3, at right, accepts the pinwheel that he colored and helped create as one of the projects for kids offered at the event. Helping run the craft area for the kids was Jane Driscoll, left, of Driscoll Studio. Music, food, games and crafts for kids, vendor booths with all types of merchandise and fresh produce offerings have all been a part of the market, with the next one scheduled for July 19 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
