Calling all Little Chefs: If you were an El Portal Middle School student in the ‘Little Chefs’ program in the years 1984 to 1991, organizers are planning a reunion. The date for the event is coming soon, with the reunion planned on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Community Center Park in Escalon.

Those planning to attend are welcome to bring their family but are asked to let organizers know how many are coming. There will be games and food for all.

They are hoping to find as many participants from the program to attend as possible; a final count of attendees is needed by July 31.
