A fun opportunity, Galentine’s at the Barn, is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at Lorina’s Edible Garden, 17397 Enterprise Road in Escalon. Being offered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the farm store will be open on site and there will be a number of vendors taking part as well. Shoppers and browsers attending will receive some Valentine’s treats and reservations are being accepted for shareable ‘Girlfriend’s Charcuterie’ board specials.

Vendors will be set up inside the barn on Feb. 8 and will have a variety of items ranging from candles and books to jewelry and Valentine’s gifts; charms, crocheted items, Alpaca products and more.

Looking ahead, the nursery area will be open in March with items ready for the planting season. Among the spring vegetables expected to be available are multiple varieties of tomatoes and peppers, along with eggplant, cucumbers, melons, kale and squash.
