Members of the Escalon Lions Club got together for a litter pick-up project on Saturday, Oct. 12. Several bags of debris were picked up along a stretch of McHenry Avenue, starting at the intersection with River Road and moving a mile north on McHenry, cleaning both sides of the roadway. It was part of the San Joaquin County Adopt-A-Road project, handling the litter removal along a dedicated stretch of roadway.
