Officials with the Stockton Lantern Festival have announced that a fireworks display is scheduled for New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 31. The firework show will light up the downtown Stockton sky once Stockton Lantern Festival goes dark at 10 p.m.

Stockton Lantern Festival is open daily and tickets can be purchased in advance at the Adventist Health Arena and Stockton Ballpark box offices or online at www.stocktonlanternfestival.com.

“We are excited to be able to host a fireworks display on New Year’s Eve to ring in the new year at the Stockton Lantern Festival,” said Jason Perry, general manager, ASM Global - Stockton. “We wanted to add something special to our New Year’s Eve show and cannot think of a better way for the community to gather and enjoy the Lantern Festival on New Year’s Eve than with fireworks.”

The Stockton Lantern Festival runs daily from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. until Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025, switching to a 5:30 p.m. opening starting on Jan. 1, 2025. For more information, visit www.StocktonLanternFestival.com

Tickets for the Magic Ocean lantern fest are on sale via Ticketmaster.com and in-person at the Adventist Health Arena box office and Stockton Ballpark box office. Tickets start at $19 for children ages three to 12 and adult tickets start at $23.
