The 2025 Escalon Historical Society fundraiser is fast approaching; the Blue Jean Ball III is set for Saturday, May 3 at Del Rio Vista Garden, 25306 East River Road in Escalon.

Happy Hour begins at 5 p.m., with dinner served beginning at 6 p.m.

Entertainment for the evening will be provided by The Modern Jazz Duo.

The garden setting is handicapped accessible and tickets for the dinner, at $65 per person, are available at the museum, 1630 Main St., Escalon, or by calling Sandy Russell at 209-838-1275. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Proceeds of this fundraising dinner benefit the Escalon Historical Society Museum. Theme for this year’s dinner is “Let The Good Times Roll.”

The local museum is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m.

Each year of the ‘Blue Jean Ball’ has featured a special salute to an iconic Escalon business or industry.

“This year we are highlighting the Escalon Bakery, also known as Benders,” said coordinator Wendy Fenton.

The Bakery was housed for many years in the building at the corner of First and Main streets in Escalon.
