It was Rodeo Weekend in neighboring Oakdale, April 12 and 13, and there were some Escalon residents in the Cowboy Capital of the World for the 73rd Oakdale Saddle Club event. The Saturday morning parade, meanwhile, included Little Miss Escalon Liv Sharp riding in style along the parade route, which ran for several blocks along F Street through downtown Oakdale.
