Alfred “Al” Solorio, aged 82, of Modesto, California, passed away on January 9, 2024. Born on June 25, 1941, in Ripon, California, Al lived a vibrant and active life that touched the hearts of many. If you knew Alfred, you knew a man who embraced life to the fullest. His love for sports, including bowling, softball, pickleball, and senior sports, took him on adventures near and far as he competed with passion. Al’s connection with horses was a source of joy; from cutting and sorting to penning and trail riding, he found solace and excitement in their presence. His collection of classic cars and motorcycles was a testament to his appreciation for fine vehicles. Outgoing and possessing a dry sense of humor, Al’s personality left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Alfred is survived by his children Beatrice Solorio, Junior Solorio, and Kathy Solorio, as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Rosaline Solorio, his infant son Alfred Solorio, his brother Raymond Solorio, his brother Frank Solorio, and his sister Susie Sandoval.

A funeral service will be held graveside at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, 1141 Scenic Drive in Modesto, on June 25, 2024 at 11 a.m. Following the service, a celebration of life will honor the memory of a remarkable man who touched the lives of many.
