Anita Marie Rose, 36, died Saturday, Sept. 17 after a long and brave battle with Huntington disease in San Diego.
She was born in Modesto and lived in Oakdale and Escalon most of her life.
She was a housewife and mother.
She is survived by her children, Damian, Brittney and Braiden Van Meter, all of Oregon; brother, Timothy Rose of Groveland; and father Larry Rose of Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Lynn Rose Blunt; and grandparents, Charles and Goldye Nickens, all of Oakdale.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12 at Oaklawn Memorial Park, at A Street and Sierra, Oakdale. A celebration of life will follow at the Cocina Restaurant on Highway 120. All those who knew and loved her are invited.
