Billye Nell Agnew was born on December 30, 1935 in Imperial, California to John Coy and Elsie Elois Agnew and was raised in Imperial Valley, California. Just one short week prior to her 88th birthday, she passed on December 23, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.

At the age of 10, her family moved north to Stockton, California. She graduated high school from Stockton College in 1953. As a teenager, she was baptized for the remission of her sins and added to the Lord’s Church.

She married Robert Wayne Morrow on November 16, 1958, in Stockton, California. Their first home was in Southern California, but in 1969 they moved to Manteca before purchasing their family farm in Escalon where she lived for over 50 years. It was at this home where she raised her three children and shared many fond memories with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, and friends.

Billye was a longtime member of the Manteca Church of Christ. She was a loving wife and mother with a servant’s heart! Billye will be remembered by many for her cooking and hospitality.

Billye was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bobby). She is survived by her daughter Candace Cutter and husband, Glenn; her son, Derron Morrow; and her other son, Lance Morrow and wife, Susan. Billye has eight grandchildren – Joshua Cutter and wife Angela; Javan Cutter, Joanna Cantrell and husband Ryan; Jared Cutter and wife Rose; Wyatt Morrow, Taylor Countryman and husband Chris; Blake Morrow, and Carson Morrow. Billye was also blessed with 10 great grandchildren – Hayden, Brycen, Coltyn, Austyn, and Damyon Cutter; Zadyn and Kaydence Cutter; Kinsley, Easton, and Cason Cantrell. Billye has many family members who live in the Manteca/Oakdale area including her two sisters, Lynette Lee and Beverly Harris.

Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Morrow family. A Graveside Service was held January 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Burwood Cemetery.
