Carl Joseph Cannon, 87, of Oakdale died Tuesday, Aug.17, 2004, at Doctors Medical Center, Modesto.
Mr. Cannon was a native of Massachusetts and lived in Oakdale 65 years. He was a carpenter for Teamsters Union Local #25 for 65 years. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve.
He was a past president of Teamsters Union Local #25, Manteca, and a member of SIRS. He enjoyed bowling.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Aileen Cannon; son, Richard Cannon; one brother and one sister.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, at Escalon Covenant Church. No public visitation. Oakdale Memorial Chapel in charge of arrangements.
