Carol (Striplin) Focha, 69, of Escalon died Sunday, Feb. 22 at her residence in Escalon.
Born in Modesto, she had lived in Escalon for 45 years. She was a department manager for Wal-Mart in Modesto for six years, was a longtime Planning Commission member and P.T.A. member in Escalon. She enjoyed trips to the ocean.
Survivors include her companion, Richard Altamirano of Escalon; children, James Focha and Brent Focha, both of Escalon, Gary Focha and Neal Focha, both of Modesto; brother, Jim Striplin of Modesto; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned Friday, March 5 at 11 a.m. at Martin Schuler's, 15731 So. Brennan, Escalon. No visitation.
