Charles Craig Jr., 76, passed away on Saturday, Jan.7.
Born on Aug. 20, 1935, he was a resident of Escalon for the past 20 years and was employed for 32 years at PG&E as a gas engineer.
He loved family get-togethers and enjoyed playing baseball, collecting memorabilia, and classic cars.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Harlene Craig and their three sons, Charles Craig III of Oakdale, Scott Craig of Escalon and Todd Craig of Pleasanton; his grandchildren, Cameron Craig of Oakdale, Christina Craig, Rachel Craig, Alexander Craig, and Patrick Craig, all of Escalon, Lauren Conway and Stephen Conway, both of Pleasanton; and his brother Richard Craig.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Kay Swanson and Virginia Nycum.
Visitation was Thursday, Jan. 12 at Deegan Funeral Chapel in Escalon. Memorial service was Friday, Jan. 13 at the chapel and burial followed at Burwood Cemetery.
