Dante Fernandez passed away peacefully on May 16, 2016 in Manteca at the age of 33. Dante was born on August 13, 1982 to Mike Sr. and Esther Fernandez in Modesto, California. He has been a proud resident of Escalon for nearly his entire life. Dante enjoyed spending his time on a golf course. He also loved watching football, especially his favorite team, the Oakland Raiders.
He enjoyed playing poker, BBQing, and listening to his favorite band, Queen. Dante will be remembered for the way he would tell his long exaggerated stories, like the time he went to Harvard on a full ride scholarship for backgammon. Dante was always finding a way to make everyone smile or laugh, he was extremely well liked and loved by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. Above all else, Dante loved his family and friends.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Dante leaves behind his wife of 6 years, Mellissa Fernandez, his parents, Mike Fernandez Sr. and Esther Fernandez, his son, Nicholas Fernandez, his brothers, Mike Fernandez and Jojo Fernandez and his sister, Yolanda Fernandez.
