David Baker, 78, of Escalon passed away unexpectedly on November 17 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.

Mr. Baker was a Vietnam veteran. He worked for Billington Manufacturing for 47 years. He was a member of the Escalon Sportsman Club and a Volunteer Firefighter in Escalon for 15 years.

Mr. Baker is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gloria Baker of Escalon; children, Pamela Furze, Dallas Powell and Travis Powell; grandchildren, Amanda Furze, Kristen White, James Furze and six great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 5 at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella.

Services conducted by Hillview Funeral Chapel, Patterson.
