FRANCISCO SAVERIO BAVARO obit

Francisco Saverio Bavaro was born on November 16, 1960, in Escalon, California to Joe and Pauline Bavaro. Frank fought a courageous battle against cancer over the last year. He passed away on July 2 at his home in Escalon surrounded by his family. Frank was raised in a family with strong Italian roots on Sexton Road with his older brother Nick (Lori) and sister Mary (Frank).

Frank spent his life as a dedicated husband, father, papa, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He married the love of his life, Vicki, in 1987. They have two children, Paul Bavaro (Kaylee) and Lexi Prins (Clayton) and most recently, three grandchildren who loved their Papa dearly; Emersyn, Carter, and Gianna. Frank was a third-generation farmer and was proud to raise his children on the ranch and watch them continue the legacy. He was passionate about the fruits of his labor and willing to share his bountiful harvest with all. Frank was a friend to many and a stranger to none. He enjoyed camping, exploring the areas around their Pinecrest cabin, vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, and riding ATVs in the desert. He had a larger-than-life personality that will never be forgotten.

A funeral service in Frank’s honor is planned for Thursday, July 11 at Escalon Christian Reformed Church at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers please send any memorial donations to Escalon Community Ambulance.
