Frank Terrell Bryan, age 81, of Escalon, CA, died peacefully at home with his family on Sunday, March 30.

Frank was born in Del Rio, Texas to Lt. Colonel Frank Thorne Bryan and Henri-Sue (Terrell) Bryan. Being the son of a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Air Force, Frank and his siblings (Malcolm, Susan and Robert) lived in many interesting places. Frank joined the navy in 1963 where he worked as an airframe mechanic for seven years. He then went on to have a long career at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a master metal fabricator. Frank is well-known for his extraordinary talent and artistry with metal, creating unique recreational vehicles. Frank’s creations were highlighted in a variety of magazines.

Frank is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janet, his daughter Teresa (spouse Preston), son Joel (spouse Wendi) and his four grandsons: Collin, Nicholas, Garrett and Colton. Frank was looking forward to his first great-grandchild, to arrive in May.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Frank’s honor on Friday, April 11 at 1:30 p.m. at Calvary Community Church, 815 W. Lathrop Road, Manteca, CA.
