On March 2, 2023, our beloved mom, wife, and friend Helen Burke passed away. She was 89. Born in Stockton to Frank and Eva Krebs on July 26, 1933. Beloved wife of Edward Burke who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters Ruth Burke and Elaine Burke, her family Shelly Musgrove, Russ Morgan, Samantha Morgan, and Brandon Morgan.

She attended grammar school in Farmington, graduated from Escalon High School and Stockton College with a degree in accounting. She was a lifelong resident of Farmington. She worked as a bookkeeper for the family business Electro-Delta Corp., Carrow’s and most of the organizations she was involved in. She was a founding charter member of the California Women for Agriculture and was awarded a lifetime membership in the San Joaquin Orchid Society.

Helen loved her family, friends, church, and community. She loved orchids, gardening, crafting, sewing, making bread, candy, getting together to play cards with her friends and entertaining. She loved watching her birds, mainly the hummingbirds out her kitchen window. She was a member of Farmington United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, San Joaquin Orchid Society, California Women for Agriculture, Escalon Farmington Community Garden Club, Secret Pal, 4th Week Card Club, Farmington 4-H, Stockton and Farmington PTA and a member of the May Flower Society.

Her services will be held Friday March 24, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., viewing at Deegan Funeral Chapel, 1441 San Joaquin Street, Escalon, CA 95320. Saturday March 25, 2023 at 11 a.m., Service at Farmington United Methodist Church, 25626 Elm Street, Farmington, CA 95230. Burial to follow at Farmington Cemetery with a luncheon at Stephen’s Hall.
