Henry Alan McNinch (Hank) was born on December 10, 1960 in Winnemucca, Nevada to Henry and Patricia McNinch. His family moved to Linden, California in 1969.
Hank was involved in High School Rodeo, Football, and 4-H. Hank graduated from Linden High School in 1978 and went on to attend Chico State. Hank first met Leslee Chamberlain through 4-H, and she became his loving wife in 1983. Hank had a strong passion for his wife and children. Although his profession kept him away often, it never diminished his devotion to his family.
Hank’s second passion in life was long haul trucking. He thrived on the adventure and the challenges it presented. Hank could talk to anyone, and had a way about him that made strangers feel like family. He was a mentor to many. His spirit and love will forever be in our hearts.
Hank passed away on October 21, 2024 in Oakdale, California. Hank is survived by his daughter Megan McNinch, his son Mike McNinch (Katy) and three grandchildren: Emma, Henry, and Milo. He is also survived by his sister Donna Freeman.
A service was held at 11 a.m. on November 8th at Burwood Cemetery, with a reception following.
