Jessie L. Sanchez, 89, died on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013.

She was born in Union City, CA on April 2, 1924. She met and married her husband, Frank Sanchez, and had two children, Frank and Kathy.

Jessie moved with her husband and children to Escalon in 1960, where she filled the role of a farmer’s wife. She was a life-long member of Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church YLI and Grandmother’s Club.

Survivors include her two children, Frank Sanchez (Lynn) of Escalon, and Kathy Kelly (Guy) of Brentwood; and a sister, Mary Bronzini (Al) of Castro Valley; fourteen nieces and nephews; and three grandchildren, Patrick Kelly, Matthew Kelly (Melissa), and Kevin Sanchez (Tanya).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Sanchez, and brother, Tony Lopez.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 11 a.m. at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church, 19399 E. Highway 120, followed by a graveside service at Saint John’s Cemetery.
