Jo Ann Geletich peacefully passed away January 5, 2023 at the age of 83. Jo was born October 23, 1939 to Joseph and Gertrude Altomare in Salem, Ohio. As a young teenager, Jo met a man named Karl Geletich and they began their courtship. Jo attended Holy Names College. July 17, 1961 Karl and Jo married and had two sons together; Karl, Jr. and Chris. They had a beautiful life and family. They enjoyed their show dogs and was even #1 in the Country. Jo was a loving and awesome wife, mother and grandma. She loved God. She taught her children and grandchildren respect, morals, values and principles which will carry on throughout the generations. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jo is survived by her son, Chris Geletich (Deborah) of Escalon and daughter in-law, Nancy Hinton; grandchildren, Sierra Lindsey (Randin), Whitney Geletich and Ashley Geletich; great grandchildren, Keyondra Geletich, Christopher Vasquez, Logan Carey and Frankie Lindsey; great-great grandchildren include, Zephyr Benson and kah”Leah Hayes Vasquez. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 wonderful years, Karl; her son Karl, Jr. and granddaughter Denean Geletich.

Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Geletich family. A funeral Mass will be held for Jo, Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. followed by a graveside service at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made in Jo’s honor to the Alzheimer’s foundation at alz.org.
